PROGRESS SO FAR

In May, Loozeele Initiative associates participated in training sessions with MEST and Mastercard in Accra and Safari Valley, equipping them with the skills necessary to advance the Smart Lab project. Progress and milestones achieved during May, June, and July have been documented in a workbook for this purpose.

The construction of the computer lab in Sherigu is nearly complete, funded by Loozeele’s resources and external contributions, as the grant does not cover construction costs. Essential items such as [specify items, if known] have already been procured with part of the disbursed funds, bringing the lab closer to being fully operational.

The team has also contacted potential partners like Coral Reef, WonderSpaced, and others, with a final decision on partnerships and procurement currently underway.

Additionally, the Smart Lab will be shared with neighboring schools, including Sherigu Basic School, St. Peter and Paul, Greater Grace Academy, Apasinapa Basic School, Nan Basics, Dorongo Basic School, and Sherigu Secondary School, at a monthly subscription fee. Some of these schools have already been contacted and have provided positive feedback.
